Our Local Mission - Manteca, California
We’re working to build our first community garden in Manteca, California. We look forward to securing our location and breaking ground in 2025. As we work towards our first location, we are harnessing big ideas of educational classes, community groups and sustainable research. With the help of local government, grants, donors, volunteers and educational institutions, we look forward to continuing to create these communities driven spaces for everyone to enjoy, close to home.

Urban Green Project is based in Lathrop, California, with deep roots in Manteca and the California Central Valley. We’re proud to host many opportunities within our spaces and be a hub for sustainable agricultural research and education. If you’re interested in helping with individual gardens, volunteering with our organization, or joining our team — please reach out at the email below.
